Nikolai Solonski was born in St.Petersburg, Russia. His early years were spend on a farm with his grandparents. After high school he attended a technical college, where he studied to become an engineer. In 1991 he came to New York. After working in a wide variety of jobs, he found his calling as a photo retoucher. As he became a successful commercial retoucher he discovered a love of working on his own projects. Now, it is his form of therapy, play and pleasure. Images presented on this website are small part of his body of work. Site will be updated periodically.
